210 Bac Giang students awarded Samsung scholarships
BAC GIANG - On November 17, the Study Promotion Association in Bac Giang province and Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. jointly awarded Samsung scholarships in 2024 to secondary and high school students in Bac Giang province who overcome difficult circumstances and achieve good academic performance.
The programme was attended by Nguyen Van Linh, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Study Promotion Association; representatives from the Department of Education and Training, Department of Foreign Affairs, Bac Giang City People's Committee and others.

In 2024, Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. awarded 210 scholarships, each worth two million VND and a gift. The total value of the gifts and scholarships hit 500 million VND.
Each district and town had 20 students receiving scholarships while Bac Giang City had 18 students; the remaining 12 scholarships were for students of the provincial Ethnic Boarding School.

Since 2019, every year, Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. has allocated a welfare fund to award scholarships to students in the province. So far, the business has awarded 1,600 scholarships worth nearly 2.5 billion VND to students in Bac Giang.
In addition, the Company pays due attention to investing and supporting many social security programs and projects in the province, including the "Samsung Hope School" project in Hiep Hoa district with total value of 19.7 billion VND which was inaugurated and put into use from 2021.
After 25 years of establishment, the Vallet Scholarship Fund has granted nearly 50,000 scholarships worth more than 500 billion VND to excellent students nationwide.
BAC GIANG – The Rencontres du Vietnam (Meeting Vietnam) and the Vallet Foundation on September 21 organized an event to award Vallet scholarships in 2024 to 457 students in the northern provinces who have achieved excellent academic results, each worth 25 million VND for university student and 15 million VND for high school student.
The scientific and educational organisation "Meeting Vietnam" handed over Vallet scholarships, worth over 2.7 billion VND (108,473 USD) in total, to outstanding students in five Central Highlands provinces and south central Khanh Hoa an Ninh Thuan provinces at a ceremony in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province on August 28.
Thirty-two Vietnamese students have been awarded full scholarships from Taiwan, selected from a pool of 250 applicants—the most competitive selection rate to date.
The Cuban Government will grant 15 full scholarships for tertiary training to Vietnamese students, in the 2024-2025 academic year, including eight scholarships for medicine and seven for other majors, Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training has announced.
