Bac Giang grants investment certificates to 7 new projects
BAC GIANG – Since the first month of 2025, Bac Giang province has gained positive result in investment attraction.
According to the General Statistics Office, by the end of January 2025, the whole province granted investment certificates to 7 new projects and approved for 8 projects to adjust capital with a total registered investment capital of 109.2 million USD.

There included 4 domestic investment projects and 3 foreign investment projects, with registered capital reaching nearly 2 trillion VND and 13 million USD.
Some major ones were Geintech Vietnam INC Factory of GEINTECH Vietnam Co., Ltd (Hong Kong - China) specializing in the production of cables and optical fibers; projects to invest and build infrastructure of first phase of Xuan Cam - Huong Lam Industrial Park as well as Song Mai - Nghia Trung industrial park.
In addition, the business development also achieved positive results with 164 enterprises and 64 branches, offices, and business facilities newly established, with a total registered capital of 2,199 billion VND, 5.7 times higher than the same period last year.
Attracting many new projects and many enterprises expanding their production and business scale shows that Bac Giang's investment and business environment continues to attract investors.
The province continues to focus on improving the investment and business environment and raising the provincial competitiveness index in 2025 and the following years.
Vietnam has cemented its position as an attractive destination for foreign businesses looking to expand their operations in Southeast Asia, driven by robust growth and expanding infrastructure.
BAC GIANG - On the afternoon of January 15, the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to grant investment registration certificates and deploy the implementation plan of Xuan Cam - Huong Lam Industrial Park in Hiep Hoa district for the phase 1. The event was chaired by Phan The Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Vietnamese investors pumped nearly 664.8 million USD into 164 new projects and 26 existing ventures abroad in 2024, up 57.7% in value as compared to the previous year, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment’s Foreign Investment Agency.
Vietnam’s foreign direct investment (FDI) disbursement reached an all-time high of approximately 25.35 billion USD last year, an annual increase of 9.4%, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment’s Foreign Investment Agency (FIA).
BAC GIANG - According to the Department of Planning and Investment, in 2025, Bac Giang province manages more than 7.5 trillion VND (313.7 million USD) of public investment capital, including over 7.4 trillion VND for development investment capital and the remaining for career capital.
