Quang Ninh: Nearly 4,000 athletes conquer Phu Van Peak
The Yen Tu Mountain Climbing Race 2025 was held on April 20 at the special national relic site of Yen Tu in Thuong Yen Cong Commune, Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province.
Theme ‘Conquering Phu Van Peak’, the event was jointly held by the People’s Committee of Uong Bi City, the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists’ Association, and Great Race Vietnam.

The race attracted the participation of nearly 4,000 professional and amateur athletes from nearly 30 provinces and cities across the country.
With two race distances of 5 km and 8 km, the running routes passed through the system of temples, shrines, towers, pine street, and bamboo Forest of the special national relic site of Yen Tu, with a maximum altitude of 1,068 meters above sea level.
Along with awarding first, second, third prizes and the top 10 for male and female athletes in the two distances of 5 km and 8 km, the organising board also presented prizes to the oldest male and female athletes participating in the event.
The Yen Tu Mountain Climbing Race was not only a sporting activity but also a cultural and spiritual journey, awakening national pride and promoting the image of Uong Bi – Yen Tu – Quang Ninh to visitors.
Bac Giang – Every spring, when the unique yellow apricot blossoms of the Yen Tu mountain bloom, and when the pine, fir, and bamboo forests sway joyfully in the gentle spring breeze, the cultural heritage region of Tay Yen Tu awakens and spreads its beauty, inviting visitors on a journey to attend the spring festivals.
BAC GIANG - The ancient pagodas in the Tay Yen Tu (western Yen Tu range) region of Bac Giang province are deeply connected to the formation and development of the Tru Lam Buddhist Zen sect during the Tran Dynasty. These pagodas possess significant values that need to be preserved, restored, and promoted in combination with tourism development.

BAC GIANG- The provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province on the morning of February 9 solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 2025 Culture-Tourism Week and Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival themed "Sacred Tay Yen Tu" at the Tay Yen Tu spiritual- ecotourism complex (Son Dong district).
BAC GIANG- On February 6, Mai Son, permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province and Head of the Organising Board of the Culture-Tourism Week and the opening of the Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival inspected the preparation for the opening ceremony at Tay Yen Tu spiritual- ecotourism complex.
BAC GIANG - According to Tay Yen Tu Service Joint Stock Company, from January 30 to February 4, 2025 (or lunar January 2-6), Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecotourism complex welcomed more than 25,000 visitors.
