Viet Nam men’s futsal team triumphs 3-2 over Kuwait.

The match took place during a six-day intensive training camp as the team’s final preparations before the 2026 AFC Futsal Championship qualifiers.

Compared to other group opponents such as Lebanon, China, and Hong Kong (China), the Kuwait futsal team is regarded as slightly stronger, making this encounter an ideal opportunity to test the players' adaptability and to adjust tactics.

This victory not only boosts the team’s morale but also demonstrates early success in coach Diego Giustozzi’s youth development efforts.

According to the schedule, the Viet Nam futsal team will face Kuwait again at 10 pm on September 13 (Viet Nam time).

After Kuwait, the team will fly to China for their Group E fixtures. Viet Nam will face Hong Kong (China) on September 20, China on September 22 and Lebanon on September 24.
