Bac Giang athlete Tran Quoc Khanh wins Gold Medal at 2024 National Youth Badminton Championship
BAC GIANG - After 6 days of competition with exciting and dramatic matches, the 2024 Badminton Championship, Donex Cup wrapped up on June 16 at Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Bac Giang team won 4 medals, including 1 Gold Medal.
The tourney was jointly organized by the Vietnam Sports Administration, Vietnam Badminton Federation, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

The event took place from June 11-16 with 142 athletes from 22 provinces, cities and sectors nationwide. Athletes at diverse age groups of 14 to 18 competed in 6 events of mixed teams, men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
The matches featured many excellent young players such as: Tran Quoc Khanh (Bac Giang), Bui Bich Phuong (Hanoi), Tran Hoang Kha (Ho Chi Minh City), Tran Thi Anh (Thai Binh), Nguyen Tat Duy Loi (Lam Dong), Le Minh Son (Hai Phong)…

Bac Giang delegation had 12 athletes competing in all events. Concluding the championship, Bac Giang athletes won 4 medals, including 1 gold medal in the men's singles event for athlete Tran Quoc Khanh; 3 bronze medals in mixed doubles (Nguyen Hoang Thai Son - Vu Thi Hoa), women's doubles (Vu Thi Hoa - Tran Thi Thuy Cai) and mixed team.

BAC GIANG - On May 27, the Vietnam Administration of Sports (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nam Dinh province to wrap up the National Sambo Club Championships 2024, the first edition of its kind held at a national scale.

BAC GIANG – As of May 8, Bac Giang athlete Dang Thi Huong (born 2011) won 3 medals at Asian Jujitsu Championship 2024, reported the representative of the Bac Giang provincial Center for Sports Training and Competition.
