The tournament attracted more than 250 athletes from 21 sports delegations from provinces and cities nationwide, including Dien Bien, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Lai Chau, Binh Phuoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Hoa Binh, Bac Kan, Lam Dong, Nghe An, Kon Tum, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Ninh Binh, Yen Bai, Dak Lak, Lang Son, Son La and Lao Cai.

The Organizing Committee awards the second overall prize to the Bac Giang sports delegation (podium No.2).

Athletes competed in 26 categories, including 14 weight groups for men and 12 for women. Through nearly 350 matches with noble sportsmanship spirit, solidarity and honesty, the tournament brought exciting competitions, receiving enthusiastic cheers from large audience.

Bac Giang delegation had 21 athletes participating in all events and weight groups. With careful preparation and a strong competitive manner, they won 14 medals of all kinds, including 4 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals, 7 Bronze Medals; exceeding the target by 1 Gold Medal.

Athlete Hoang Thi Ngan (podium No.1) wins Gold Medal in the women's 60 kg category.

This achievement helped Bac Giang athletes win second place in the medal tally. The gold winners were Hoang Thi Ngan in women's 60 kg category; Ly Thien Thien in women's 57 kg category; Hoang Phuong Chi in women's 69 kg category and Tran Van Phu in men's 90 kg category.

The tournament offered opportunity for localities to compete, affirm their position, and evaluate the training and coaching of pole pushers nationwide. At the same time, it contributed to promoting the movement "All people exercise following the example of Uncle Ho" to develop and preserve the value of national sports.
