Bac Giang well prepares conditions to organize Culture - Tourism Week 2025
BAC GIANG - On the afternoon of January 16, Mai Son, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee (PPC), Head of the Organizing Committee of the Bac Giang Culture - Tourism Week 2025 chaired a conference to review the progress of implementing tasks of relevant agencies, units and localities under both direct and online meeting.
At the conference, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism briefed on the implementation results. Based on Plan No. 66/KH-UBND dated October 29, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing the Culture and Tourism Week and opening the Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival in 2025, sectors, units and localities have actively implemented assigned tasks, ensuring progress.

Leaders of departments, branches, localities and units reported and clarified the results of the implementation of tasks in the past time as well as suggested and proposed a number of contents related to the Cultural and Tourism Week such as ensuring security, order and traffic safety at procession of the tablets of Tam To Truc Lam (the three founders of the Truc Lam Buddhist Zen sect), the opening ceremony, the Open Cycling Race themed "Journey follows the footsteps of the Buddha Emperor" among others.
Concluding the conference, the PPC Permanent Vice Chairman Mai Son acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility and efforts of localities, agencies and units in preparing for the event.
In the coming time, he requested relevant departments, branches and localities to promote communication about the event, well coordinate in reception work and organize various activities during the Cultural and Tourism Week such as the 6th Open Van and Chau Van Singing Festival of Bac Giang province in 2025; Sloong Hao singing festival and highland spring market (Luc Ngan), forest opening festival at Then Goddesses temple (Lang Giang) among others.

The Bac Giang Culture and Tourism Week and the opening of Spring Festival 2025, themed "Sacred Tay Yen Tu" will be held at provincial level from February 8-13 (from the 11th to the 16th of the first lunar month).

BAC GIANG - On November 21, the Bac Giang Provincial Museum organized a number of activities to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, November 23. The highlight was the programme themed "Soul of Ngoi Village Pottery - Quintessence of Traditional Craft" with various activities of displaying products, performing and experiencing Ngoi Village pottery that attracted a large number of visitors and students from Bac Giang City.
BAC GIANG - At the 7th Then singing and Tinh lute art festival of the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups in 2024, the Bac Giang artists and actors won two A prizes, four B prizes, one C prize together with a Certificate of Merit.
BAC GIANG- Bac Giang Cheo Theatre bagged 2 gold and 2 silver medals at Hanoi Open Stage Festival 2024, which took place from 1 to 9 November.
