Bac Giang wins 22 medals at National Roller Sports Youth Championship
BAC GIANG - The 2024 National Roller Sports Youth Championship wrapped up on September 29 after three days of competition. Bac Giang delegation won 22 medals of all kinds.
The tournament was organized by the Vietnam Sports Administration, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam Skating and Roller Federation.

This year event brought together nearly 200 athletes from 12 provinces and cities across the country, including: Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Bac Giang, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Tien Giang, Hai Phong, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Hanoi and the host city of Ho Chi Minh City.
The tournament welcomed male and female professional and semi-professional athletes aged 5 to 18 to compete in 38 events, including 10 artistic roller skating and 28 speed skating categories for individual championship.
15 athletes (4 men and 11 women) from Bac Giang delegation participated in the event and won 22 medals of all kinds, including 5 Gold Medals, 7 Silver Medals, and 10 Bronze Medals.
5 gold medals went to athletes: Dao Bui Huu Dat (men’s Novice B 400m), Nguyen Phan Tra Vy (women’s Junior D 1,200m); especially, athlete Huynh Trong An won 3 gold medals in the events of men’s Senior D 1,600m, Junior C 1,600m and Senior C 2,000m.
In Bac Giang province, the Roller Sports team was established in early 2024. The tournament is an opportunity for athletes to gain experience, skills and competitive spirit.
Also, it is an opportunity for the Vietnam Skating and Roller Federation to discover and select young athletes, supplement the force and prepare for upcoming international tournaments.
BAC GIANG- The Organizing Board of the 41st Bac Giang Newspaper Half Marathon 2024 themed “Convergence in the Sacred Land” on September 24 had a meeting to review the preparation for the tournament. The meeting was hosted by Trinh Van Anh, Editor-in chief of Bac Giang Newspaper and Head of the Organizing Board.

BAC GIANG - On the morning of September 22, the star runner of Bac Giang province Nguyen Thi Oanh excellently won the championship title in women's full marathon of 42 km at the Techcombank HaNoi International Marathon 2024 in Hanoi.
BAC GIANG - On September 16, the 2024 National Jujitsu Championship wrapped up at Bac Giang Provincial Gymnasium with the final matches and closing ceremony. The tournament was jointly organized by the Vietnam Jujitsu Federation and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang from September 10 to 16.
BAC GIANG – On the morning of September 12, the Vietnam Jujitsu Federation and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang organized the opening ceremony of the 2024 National Jujitsu Championship at the Provincial Gymnasium.
BAC GIANG - Amid fierce competition for achievements in major arenas, in recent times, Bac Giang province has invested in and developed many new sports so as to well prepare the athletes for tournaments.
