The 15-member squad brought home two gold medals in the men’s triples and men’s fours events, one silver in the men’s doubles and one bronze in the men’s team event. With this result, Bac Ninh ranked fourth overall among participating delegations.

The tournament, held from September 11 to 17, drew nearly 200 athletes representing eight provinces, cities and sectors nationwide. Competitors contested in 11 events, ranging from men’s and women’s singles and doubles to mixed doubles, triples, fours, and team categories.

Organizers said the championship was not only a competitive platform but also an opportunity for localities to exchange experiences, assess training quality and encourage the development of shuttlecock as a high-performance sport across the country.

The event is also expected to strengthen grassroots movements and expand the talent pool nationwide.

Sports officials noted that results from the competition would help national coaches identify and recruit outstanding athletes for the national squad in preparation for major upcoming tournaments, most notably the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand this December and the 10th National Sports Games in 2026.
