Notably, revenue from land use rights exceeded 10.6 trillion VND, 14.6% higher than the annual target and three times more than the figure recorded in the same period in 2024.

Tax and fee collections reached approximately 27.5 trillion VND or 75.3% of the assigned annual target, up nearly 24% year-on-year.

Among the 17 tax categories tracked, four exceeded the yearly target: agricultural land use tax, tax on dividends and post-tax profits, revenue from public land funds, and miscellaneous budget revenues.

Officials attribute this strong performance to proactive measures implemented early in the year. The tax department assigned specific collection targets to its subordinate units and divisions, conducted monthly assessments, and promptly addressed difficulties faced by taxpayers.

Local authorities also strengthened oversight of tax liabilities, enforced collections, and encouraged the use of electronic tax filing systems to simplify compliance for businesses and residents.
