Previously, apart from the uniforms, only runners finishing the 21km race distance were given finisher shirts according to the old regulation. In order to highlight a professional tournament and promote the province’s image, the Organizing Board decided to give shirts to all runners finishing the 5km, 10km and 21km distances.

The shirt is made from flexible polyester fabric which is highly durable, ultralight, cool and sweat absorbent, suitable for sport activities.

Apart from the tournament and sponsors’ logos, the shirt is printed with the patterns inspired from the images of the entrance of the central square and Tu Dai garden in Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourism complex (Son Dong district).

These are unique architectural buildings with special historical meanings featuring the culture and tourism of Bac Giang.

In addition, the shirt is designed with different colours for each race distance. Particularly, the main colours for the 5km distance are blue, white and red, blue, grey and white are main colours for the 10km distance while blue and red represents the 21km distance race. All of the finisher shirts are sponsored by Venicii Vietnam Joint Stock Company (Hanoi).

The 41st Bac Giang Newspaper Half Marathon 2024 theme “Converging in the Sacred Land” organized by Bac Giang Newspaper in collaboration with the provincial Youth Union, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Education and Training and other units.

To date, the tournament has attracted over 3,000 participants from the province and other localities including 1,500 runners participating in half marathon event at different distances. The tournament is scheduled from 12 to 13 October 2024 and the opening ceremony will take place at 16.00 on 12 October at the 3/2 square, Bac Giang city.
