Job fair held for Vietnamese students in RoK
A job fair was held at Seoul Cyber University on February 23, opening up job opportunities, and shared knowledge, experience, and career guidance for Vietnamese students in the Republic of Korea.
The Vietnamese Students’ Association in the Republic of Korea (VSAK) held a job fair at Seoul Cyber University on February 23, attracting nearly 500 Vietnamese students in the country.

The event, sponsored by the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK, opened up job opportunities, and shared knowledge, experience, and career guidance for students. It also helped introduce high-quality human resources to enterprises and corporations in the host country.
The participating students received guidance on writing and editing resumes, as well as advice on suitable career paths, in addition to opportunities for direct interviews with Korean companies.
Praising VSAK's efforts in organising the event, Vietnamese Deputy Ambassador Nguyen Thi Thai Binh emphasised that it not only allows Korean and Vietnamese companies to select quality personnel but also helps students showcase their abilities and seek suitable jobs.
Additionally, the event promoted people-to-people exchanges and human resources cooperation, thereby contributing to the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the RoK.
VSAK President Nguyen Tran Hung said that Vietnamese students are always highly regarded for their professional skills, work attitude, and the spirit to improve themselves.
However, employment remains a significant concern after graduation, he noted, adding the lack of experience and limited access to employers are considerable barriers.
BAC GIANG- This year, Bac Giang province was allocated more than 9.8 billion VND (384,721 USD) from the National Target Programme on sustainable poverty reduction for vocational education development in poor and disadvantaged areas under the project 4 “Development of vocational education and stable employment”.
Vietnamese students will have their tuitions waived and receive €1,000 ($1,054) a month in aid if they study nursing in Germany, along with ample job opportunities after graduation.
Bac Giang – The final months of the year are always a busy time for the labour market as businesses need additional workers to complete production plans and prepare for labour shortages after the Lunar New Year (Tet). The increasing demand provides workers with more opportunities to choose jobs that offer better wages and benefits.
BAC GIANG - Implementing the plan to create jobs for labourers in 2024, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in Bac Giang province directed specialized departments to closely coordinate with related sectors, districts, towns and city to pay attention to forecasting human resource needs by field and level.
Japan is set to reduce entry costs and ease restrictions for Vietnamese workers under a new initiative, enabling shared departure expenses and more flexible job transfers to enhance migrant work conditions.
BAC GIANG - Implementing the Project "Loans to support job creation, maintain and expand employment in Bac Giang province during 2023-2025 period", since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Social Policy Bank has disbursed 322 billion VND (over 13.7 million USD) to 3,660 customers as loan capital to create jobs.
