The programme, titled "Comprehensive healthcare outreach – Medical checkups for a healthier Vietnam", was launched with large-scale participation from hundreds of healthcare workers and drew widespread community engagement.

Young physicians provide medical checkups and consultations for residents of Phu Khe Ward.

The effort primarily focused on non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular conditions, hypertension, diabetes and geriatric health.

In addition to direct patient services, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, together with FaCare International Medical Technology Joint Stock Company, donated healthcare management systems and medical monitoring equipment to public health facilities in the area.

These upgrades aim to support the digital transformation of grassroots healthcare, enhancing chronic disease management and streamlining medical record tracking and retrieval.

The initiative also included training sessions for local healthcare workers on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical screening and disease control—an essential component in the gradual rollout of a smart healthcare model within the province.

As part of the programme, the Ministry of Health and the "Understanding the Heart" Foundation sponsored heart surgeries for 10 children suffering from congenital heart defects in Bac Ninh, giving them an opportunity to regain their health and improve quality of life.

Organizers also presented gifts to 10 policy beneficiary families and underprivileged households, as well as 10 high-achieving students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The programme represents a joint initiative between the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ministry of Health, aiming to enhance public healthcare through the use of technology, disease prevention and improve capacity of grassroots medical systems.
