State budget revenue exceeds target for 2021-2025 period by more than 24.4 trillion VND
BAC GIANG - By the end of this year, the state budget revenue is estimated to reach more than 19.1 trillion VND (over 805 million USD) in Bac Giang province, exceeding 22.2% and 19.1% of the budget estimate assigned by the Center and province respectively, local competent agency confirmed.
Thus, since 2021 to the end of 2024, the province's state budget revenue has accumulated more than 78.5 trillion VND, exceeding more than 24.4 trillion VND compared to the target set by the 19th Provincial Party Congress for 2021-2025 period (the target is more than 54.1 trillion VND).

The above results were achieved thanks to recent efforts of the province to direct tax and customs agencies and localities to review, collect the revenues to the budget correctly, sufficiently and timely while regularly urge debt collection from organizations and individuals, strictly handle cases of late payment.
The provincial People's Committee, localities and functional agencies create favorable conditions for enterprises and households in production and business activities, thereby increasing revenue and making high contributions to the budget.
State budget collection has so far reached 85% of this year's estimate, Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Chi has reported.
The total state budget revenue in the first eight months of this year reached more than 1,146 trillion VND, equivalent to 77.2% of the estimate for the whole of this year and 117.9% compared to the figure for the same period last year, according to the General Department of Taxation.
BAC GIANG - According to the functional sector, up to this point, Lang Giang and Luc Ngan district in Bac Giang province have exceeded the assigned budget collection for this year.
More than 1.038 quadrillion VND (40.9 billion USD) was collected for the State budget in the first half of 2024, equivalent to 61% of this year’s target and up 17.7% from a year earlier, reported the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
Vietnam’s budget revenue from export and import activities in the first five months of 2024 was estimated at 165,696 billion VND (6.5 billion USD), up 7.4% over the same period last year, according to the General Department of Customs.
Total state budget collection in the first five months of 2024 was estimated to reach 898.4 trillion VND (35.2 billion USD), equivalent to 52.8% of the yearly estimate, representing a year-on-year rise of almost 15%, according to the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
