The growth rate of production value in 2024 reached 19.2%, ranking 2nd in the province. The investment and business environment has been improved; the department and district competitiveness index (DDCI) in 2024 ranked 3rd out of 10 districts, townships and city.

In 2024, the district was recognized by the Ministry of Construction as meeting the criteria of a fourth tier urban area 1 year earlier than the Congress's target.

Concluding the meeting, the PPC Chairman acknowledged the outstanding results achieved by Hiep Hoa district in the past time and highly appreciated the attitude and sense of responsibility of the staff and party members in performing the assigned tasks.

He emphasized that the arrangement of administrative units is like a "revolution", taking place very quickly and involving all staff. Therefore, the district must soon organize a conference to thoroughly grasp this content in order to help stabilize the thoughts and feelings of staff and party members.

At this time, the district needs to highly concentrate, strictly and resolutely manage land issues, security and order while cooperating with forces to promptly grasp and handle land violations. Local authority should allocate resources for the development of education, health care and construction of transport infrastructure.

After dissolving the district-level government, the district must focus on well handing over real estate facilities, ensuring that the new apparatus after the merger operates effectively, efficiently and effectively.
