By sector, 949 new enterprises were in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries; 23,600 in industry and construction; and 83,200 in services.[MS1]

About 107,700 new enterprises were established in the first seven months of the year.

These enterprises are expected to inject 928.4 trillion VND (35.4 billion USD) into the economy, up 5.5% year on year, and employ 670,000 workers, up 11.6% compared to the same period in 2024.

The average capital per newly established enterprise reached 8.6 billion VND (328,000 USD), a 4.6% decrease from the same period last year.

An estimated 66,300 enterprises returned to business during the January-July period, a surge of 49.8% from last year, while 88,600 enterprises temporarily suspended their operations, up 13.6% year on year.
