The completed criteria include planning; traffic; irrigation and natural disaster prevention and control; electricity; economy; security, order - public administration.

5 indicators of 3 criteria have not meet the standard, including criterion No. 5 on health - culture – education, criterion No. 7 on environment and criterion 8 on living environment quality.

To basically complete the criteria and targets of advanced new style rural district 2024, Tan Yen district has focused on directing and speeding up the project implementation, striving to complete the application for recognition of advanced new style rural district in the second quarter of 2025.

BAC GIANG - Thanks to the resolutions on supporting to expand, revamp and update the roads in the village, residential groups and alleys that are warmly responded by the people, the rural road expansion movement in residential areas in Viet Yen township (Bac Giang province) has been done to dramatically change the appearance of villages and neighbouring areas. 

Bac Giang targets more new-style rural areas in 2024

The northern province of Bac Giang expects to have five more communes recognised as new-style rural areas, 11 more advanced new-style rural communes, and five new model new-style rural communes in 2024.

OCOP programme and its contributions to the building of rural areas

After five years of implementation, the One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme has brought practical economic benefits and sustainable income to people in rural areas, establishing itself as an important resource in the building of new-style rural areas.

 

Some 645 billion VND to be allocated for building new-style rural areas

BAC GIANG - The state budget to support implementation of the National Target Programme on building new-style rural areas in Bac Giang province is estimated at some 645 billion VND (26.2 million USD) this year including over 303 billion VND (12.3 million USD) from the central budget, 75 billion VND (3 million USD) from the provincial budget, 98 billion VND (4 million USD) from the district-level budget and 169 billion VND (6.87 million USD) of counterpart fund from the communes.
