Vietnam’s top player seeded No 6 at Yonex German Open 2025
Vietnam's top badminton player Nguyen Thuy Linh will compete in the Yonex German Open 2025.
As world No 28 and runner-up of last year's games, Linh is seeded No 6 in the women's singles category and will play LéOnice Huet of France. Last year, Linh lost to Mia Blichfeldt of Denmark in the final.

The German tournament, an event of BWF World Tour Super 300 level, began on February 2 and will close on March 2 in Mulheim. It will be the first of Linh's international trips this year.
She will be travelling next to the Orleans Masters Badminton 2025, March 4-9 in Orleans, France and then to the All England 2025 which is being held March 11-16 in Birmingham, England.
We have built a plan for Linh in 2025 and are basing it on her performance in each tournament to adjust for the highest result, said Khoa Trung Kien, official of the Sports Authority of Vietnam’s Badminton Department.
Linh and her coaches want her to place in the world's top 20 this year and to earn at medal at the most important sporting event of 2025, the 33rd SEA Games in December in Thailand.

BAC GIANG - The Asian U20 Chess Championship wrapped in the Philippines after 10 days of competition from October 10-20 with the participation from two Vietnamese players Dau Khuong Duy (Hanoi) and Luong Hoang Tu Linh (Bac Giang).

BAC GIANG - After 6 days of exciting competition, the 2024 National Individual Badminton Championship cohosted by Vietnam Badminton Federation and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province wrapped up on August 17. The duo of Bac Giang athletes Pham Van Hai - Than Van Anh won the Gold Medal in the mixed doubles event.
Vietnamese badminton player Le Duc Phat had a good start at the Paris 2024 Olympics with a 2-0 victory over Germany's Fabian Roth, winning both sets 21-10.

BAC GIANG - After 6 days of competition with exciting and dramatic matches, the 2024 Badminton Championship, Donex Cup wrapped up on June 16 at Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Bac Giang team won 4 medals, including 1 Gold Medal.
