Adjusted capital of FDI projects in Bac Giang doubles
BAC GIANG - Since the beginning of this year, the northern province of Bac Giang has granted new investment registration certificates to 65 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with a total registered capital of nearly 460 million USD.
Also, local authority allowed 63 FDI projects to add more 762 million USD, doubling the figure at the same period last year. In terms of FDI attraction, Bac Giang ranked 9th in the country.

FDI projects mainly focused on the following areas of manufacturing, processing electronic components, garments and logistics among others.
The above results were achieved because the province has recently strengthened to apply measures to improve the investment and business environment; well implemented site clearance for industrial parks; promoted administrative procedure reform and created favorable conditions for enterprises.
The province improves the quality of investment attraction, with priority taken to projects in the processing and manufacturing industries, especially high-tech industries, semiconductor technology, electronic component manufacturing.
Up to now, there are 30 countries and territories with investment projects in the province, of which China is the country having the largest number of projects, followed by Korea, Singapore and Japan among others.
