Bac Giang: 8 units win A prize at Quan Ho Folk Song Festival of Viet Yen township
BAC GIANG - The People's Committee of Viet Yen township (Bac Giang province) on March 17 organized an award ceremony for the 24th Quan Ho Folk Song Festival in 2025. This was an activity within the framework of the Bo Da Pagoda Festival taking place from March 15 to 17 ( the 16th to 18th days of the second lunar months).
The festival took place over 3 days with the participation of nearly 1,000 artists and actors of all ages from 30 Quan Ho clubs and villages in the township with 120 performances, attracting large audience.

The festival brought together many outstanding performances, beautiful costumes and makeup, using well-arranged music and good voices, preserving the original values, leaving an impression on the audience.
Concluding the Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 8 A prizes, 10 B prizes, and 12 C prizes to the entire group. A prizes winners were Tho Ha village in Van Ha commune; Chang village in Viet Tien commune; Ha Lat village in Tien Son commune; Nui Hieu residential group in Quang Chau ward; Nenh residential group in Nenh ward; Van Xa residential group in Bich Dong ward; Noi Ninh and Huu Nghi residential groups in Ninh Son ward.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded many prizes to outstanding performances.
There are currently 18 Quan Ho villages recognized by UNESCO, 3 People's Artists, 19 Meritorious Artists and more than 60 Quan Ho clubs in operation in Viet Yen township.
More than 700 singers from 24 Quan ho (love duet) singing villages in the northern province of Bac Ninh on November 15 gathered at the first-ever Quan ho village festival, an event held to mark the 15th anniversary of the UNESCO’s recognition of the folk singing as an intangible cultural heritage element of humanity.
An exhibition themed "Bac Ninh's Quan Ho love duet singing - Quintessence and Identity" opened on November 13, as part of activities to mark the 15th anniversary of Quan Ho folk songs being recognised by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
BAC GIANG - On October 6, the Bac Giang Provincial Quan Ho Culture Association organized the 2nd Quan Ho (Love Duet) Singing Festival of 19 future Quan Ho villages, period 2020-2026 at the Bac Giang Provincial Convention Center.
As part of the activities celebrating the 15th anniversary of Quan Ho (Love Duet) Singing from Bac Ninh being recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, an exhibition themed “Bac Ninh’s Quan Ho Singing - Enduring and Spreading” officially opened at Bac Ninh Museum.
BAC GIANG - On the afternoon of March 24, the People's Committee of Viet Yen township (Bac Giang province) launched the opening ceremony of the 23rd Quan Ho Folk Singing Festival in 2024. It is among the activities within Bo Da Pagoda festival, taking place from March 24 to 27 (or the 15th to 18th of the second lunar month).
