According to the Department of Finance, the province manages total 7.5 trillion VND (293.6 million USD) of public investment capital this year, which has been allocated to the departments, agencies and localities to build continuing works and commence new projects in traffic and irrigation sectors.

The route connecting the western urban area in Voi town, Lang Giang district to the provincial road 295 is being accelerated construction progress.

Based on the list of projects, the province has allocated fund for the investors, districts, townships and city to timely implement the construction projects.

This time, a number of projects, especially key traffic projects are being accelerated for capital disbursement.

Implementing the direction of Prime Minister, the provincial People’s Committee has issued a correspondence to accelerate public investment disbursement.

According to Luong Van Nghiep, Vice Director of the Department of Finance, the department has been collaborating with related agencies and units to advise the provincial People’s Committee in allocation of public investment focusing on payment for the completed works and projects.

Particularly, the community projects have been given priority for driving development.

Besides, the department advised Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee to establish a task force inspecting, accelerating and removing obstacles to speed up investment disbursement in the agencies, units, districts, townships and city.

Investors are quickly making monthly and quarterly disbursement plans for each project and assigned leaders to follow up implementation progress and investment disbursement.

Currently, the localities in the province are reviewing to evaluate disbursement capacity of the projects to adjust the public investment plans from slow disbursed projects to those with quick disbursement and in need of capital supplementation, which are capable of immediate disbursement.

In line with the above measures, the provincial People’s Committee requested the units to strictly perform payment procedures of public investment within 3 working days (since the date when the completed volumes are accepted) to avoid leaving payment until the end of the year.

Besides, procedures for payment approval should be promptly finalized to disburse fund for the completed projects and bring them into use.
